Furheen Khan family-Key Biscayne Lighthouse

The Furheen Khan family came to Key Biscayne all the way from New Jersey! The family came to Florida to take their son, Isa, on a sunny beach vacation. He was an absolute joy to work with – so fun and full of life! It was a pleasure to meet and photograph the whole family.

The family flew to Florida, so they did not have a car with them. They wanted to goto a park, so I suggested Bill Baggs Park because it was nearby and has a great lighthouse. Isa jumped up and down and ran around the park – it gave me the opportunity to take photographs that really showed off his personality! You could tell how much fun the whole family was having and how much they really loved each other.

I think it’s so important for families to get photos all together, but also for just the parents to take some time to get photos of just the two of them. Sometimes, as parents, we tend to put all of the attention of our children or the family unit. It’s important to get those romantic photos of just mom and dad to remember how much love there is.

How lucky am I to be a part of family vacations like this?? During the summertime, I tend to photograph a lot of families while they’re on vacation. Who wouldn’t want beautiful, professional photos to capture the memories they make? iPhones rarely do the Florida Keys justice, anyway…
