What is a "In-Person Consultation or Reveal Session?" aka Ordering Session
Your images are important to us and we're honored that you will invest in your precious memories with us. We think of every image as Art Work. I feel both you and your images are valued, respected and important. Here we will take the extra steps to go over your images and the order process.
I want to provide people with a true product and service that reflects the beautiful moments we capture with your help. This all happens at the "reveal session."
Every session from our biggest package to our smallest mini session is treated the same way. You have an in-studio reveal with a video presentation, ordering assistance and, like always, refreshments (very often accompanied by cookies the kids will love).
You are welcome to bring your family and kids. We have a playroom and our own kids and here most often to play with yours. We believe our clients are like family.
At Amy Gannon Photography we are, and believe in, a full service experience for photography.
We can't just email you an online gallery and go on our merry way. That is just unfair to you and the images. Also, figuring everything out on your own can easily become an overwhelming task! Clients would run into things like, "How do I download these? I want these edited further. My mother-in-law wants a high-res print. What's our password again?!"
Don't let these precious moments merely become just another feed on your social media or sit in your computer for months, years or even just get lost in the "realm of the forgotten" between our everyday responsibilities. You took the time to take these images so give them the time they deserve.
We want to go back to the days where we all had family photo albums and where beautiful family shots hung on the walls of our homes. I (Amy) still has a canvas of me and my favorite uncle hanging on my wall from 1982. I still remember taking that picture to this day. Don't let those precious images just sit in your computer!
After your photo shoot we will email you to schedule your reveal session to take place as soon as one to two weeks later. This is the most exciting part of the whole experience, finally see your retouched images!
1. First thing is we do not rush you! We invite you to maybe grab a glass of wine, possibly some tea and/or yummy snacks made for you while we watch a your slideshow of your edited images, in our Doral Office. We will have some laughs, smiles, tears, and commentary are all welcomed.
2. After we've seen all the images, we go through them individually and start narrowing down to your top favorites.
3. We show you all our custom samples of the products (canvases, albums, keepsakes, etc). It's always nice to touch and look at our work.
One important note: By no means I am considering ourselves "sales persons." It's a way to see what else we do and what you can do with your favorite images! This is the opportunity, to place any orders, go over editing, ask questions and so on.
Amy Gannon Photographs' mission is to go back to the time where the family took professional pictures and had the full experience. Here we help you navigate to your decision like size, prints, canvas or metal, formal or fun album, etc. This is far easier to do in person than by making a hundred phone calls and a million emails because all you have is an online gallery in front of you.
5. Finally, we wrap up all your choices and you've paid for your product. Our second job begins to create and order your final designs. Once you approve them your final order is sent to our professional lab and up to 31 business days (all depending on your order albums at 31 business day but print at about 14 business, during the holidays this can be much faster), your gorgeous custom artwork will arrive. Finally, we inspect your order to make sure you get the best quality and even deliver to your home, if you're local, of course. Now you have the most priceless art work your family could ever buy... your cherished ones to enjoy on a daily basis!!
